The Superior Double Room we stayed in was clean, warm, and surprisingly spacious, effectively accommodating a couple without feeling cramped. Having a bar and pool table was a solid bonus for evening relaxation after a day out.
The breakfast at $5.50 was a steal, but don't expect anything fancy—a basic spread that will fill you up without thrills. While accommodating for three, the beds were squeaky, which might wake you more than you'd like, and the room could feel a touch cramped at full capacity. Plus, the walls seem a bit thin, so prepare for some lively seagull wake-up calls in the morning. just part of the local charm, I suppose.

Absolutely loved my stay at Thistle Dhu! Received a warm welcome from Jacqui, who even carried my bags to our lovely twin room. The place is spotlessly clean and well-decorated. The bed was the comfiest I've encountered in years! Breakfast was a buffet with an excellent spread, including fresh fruit, yogurt, and the best full English ever. The bar had a relaxed vibe, making it easy to chat with other guests. Really ideal for families, with a great atmosphere overall.
Nothing to complain!

Fantastic location near the sea front and vibrant pubs, alongside exceptionally welcoming hosts! The bar area is perfect for unwinding after a day out. The room was cozy, but a little more space would be lovely.
The room felt slightly cramped for our needs.

The couples running the place were welcoming and generous, creating a friendly atmosphere. The location is perfect, just a short walk to various bars and the seafront. the family room was cramped for three people, and noise from neighboring guests was bothersome. the smell of smoke from next door affected our stay, which is unfortunate considering the nice amenities available.
